This book is an extravagant cover for relatively trivial material. However, the work that went into compiling the text is what I was trying to match.

Ganymede is a "home brew" set of rules to a miniature game that I play. The text was compiled by Nevile Stocken and distributed on the internet. After he did some layout editing it a friend, and fellow player, printed out some color copies.

I bound the other copies as rather mundane library books. This one I sent to Mr. Stocken as a thank you for all the work that he put into creating and editing all the text.

The leather is Chieftain goat skin from J. Hewit & Sons Ltd. in the UK. The marbled paper was leftover from a previous job. I don't know it's origin.

The label was stamped with hand set type, rules, and ornaments. I used a Kwik Print hot foil stamping machine. If I made this again I would center the label in marbled paper, not the cover.
